I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge. I have been in the mental health field for over 12 years and have worked with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have worked as a MAT Assessor in which I worked with Los Angeles County’s Department of Child and Family Services to support children who have been newly detained from their parents/caregivers. It has been a privilege to support children caregivers, and families who have had adverse or traumatic experience and join families on their healing journey. I take a client-centered approach, providing a supportive, warm, and empathic space through a non-judgmental lens. I believe working collaboratively with my clients is a pivotal part of the therapeutic process with the importance of meeting the clients where they are.
